The Adventures of Chantel 65: or I am going on a trip.

Alright it’s time for another my answer it to long for Facebook so we will put it here kind of posts.

Alright today’s question is if you were on a rocket to where ever to save mankind and you only got to take three books what would they be? First I feel like we should be able to take more because even if only 12 people went on this trip not all of them would take books and even if they did that’s only 36 books. but okay I will only take 3 books.

One person that answered said they would take books that they wrote and I like that idea, but I would not take any books that I wrote because I can write more plus if the people are like the dude at Dairy Queen the would not care that I published something and would get mad that I even showed them.

So here we go. the first book would be my OSRIC book because it is the Player’s handbook the DMG and the Monster book all in one book and everything that I would need to keep writing.

The second book would be The Illad and The Odyssey, I know it’s been about 3 years since I stared readying it again and I am not even done with the first part, but I think it is my third favorite book, Okay I lied my second pick would be The Once and Future King.

And my third pick would be Douglas Adams The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. This is number two on my list right be low The once and Future King and the Illad and The Odyssey.

Man I say that book the only book I have a copy of right now is The Illad and The Odyssey. So until next time keep gaming.

  1. I have seen these types of questions before and most of the time the answers are pretty bland or boring, but I think your answers are clever – I never would have thought of bringing a book which would help me write more books. In that vain, I might choose the Oxford English Dictionary over the OSIRIC (with the thought I could rewrite the game over time). I also like the idea of a classic . To that I think I would choose Meditations by Marcus Aurelius or maybe The Republic by Plato. And something for pleasure..? I could probably be satisfied with a bunch of choices, but what would be the perfect choice? Maybe I would choose Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein.

    1. John,
I am glad you enjoyed the answers. I think you also have a good selection of books. The only book I have read on your list is Frankenstein, I think I better get on the other two.
