Today’s post once again comes from a Question asked by my buddy Mike Evens.
*Discussion of the Day*- Was yakking with my buddy, Ed Wrzesien, about Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and how fucking much I’m enjoying it and got to thinking about the games that really had an impact on me and how I enjoy video and tabletop games.
Here’s mine (put them in chronological order as I could, just because), what’s yours?
1. Zelda (NES)
3. Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
4. Chrono Trigger (SNES)
5. Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
6. Final Fantasy VII (PS1)
7. Silent Hill 2 (PS2)
8. Skyrim (All Systems)
9. Zelda: BotW (Switch)
10. Slay the Spire (All systems)
11. Zelda: TotK (Switch)
So here’s mine and we might get to 10 but we will see.
1 Zelda (NES). This was where it was at for me until we get to my next game.
2. Zelda II (NES) I have debates with myself all the time about if this or FF VII is the greatest game ever. I love everything about this game.
3 Hero’s Quest I don’t remember what number it is but in the one, you fight a crap ton of goblins and you have to go to Baba Yaga’s Hut. This might be where my love for Baba Yaga and her dancing hut started.
4. King’s Quest 7 I don’t know what it is about this game, but I have an adventure on my production list based on this game.
I think that is it because the rest is just a different version of D&D and games like it, such as Crypts and Things.
Alright my friends that is it for today, so until next time keep gaming.
