It seems very fitting to me that the 900th post I make is about an adventure to the post office. Now I have had a few adventures to the post office and I really should have wrote about them. Like the one that my cousin took me with her because I know what I am doing, and it’s always fun watching a new worker help some one that has no idea. But in 2024 how do you not have at least an Idea?
Anyway I go with my wife to the post office cause she needs to mail 3 boxes. Well we are filling out the costumes papers, one lady comes in with a return, The box is not taped and she doesn’t want to return it priority, so she is going to go back home to tape it. I inform her that they have tape she can buy. She says I have tape at home. Okay fine but the gas you have already used to get here, the gas you are going to use to get back home and the gas you will use to get back to the post office is not going to be less then the 5 dollars it cost for tape so unless you walked here it’s not cheaper to go back home.
The this guy that is my age or 5 years older brings this lady in oh is maybe 5 years younger then me, and is clearly the new assistant, and his introducing her to the people that work at the Post office and showing her how to mail what ever it is he needs mailed. I mean good for him, but when you are between the age of 30 and 35 how do you not know how to use the post office, Any way they are mailing what ever it is and the postal worker is giving the price options and she says it’s almost a book. Okay it either is a book and can do Media Mail or it’s not there is no it’s almost a book.
Oh man I really need to make sure I do an adventures of Chantel every time I go to the post office. it’s a good thing tomorrow I am going to the American Fork post office were all the postal people are ladies.
