This is such a stupid question and I know I have done a blog about this in the past but it was some time ago. So let’s refresh, It’s been about two weeks now since I had my interview to join the International Women’s Networking Association. And they asked me this question.
And I told they lady this is a stupid question to ask because if it’s a bad question for a job interview, it’s even worse to gauge if someone is a good fit for your networking group and here is why.
There are so many moving parts even in three years. Do you think people had in their 3-5 year plans that Covid was going to happen when it did, and how they were going to deal with it? The answer is no. Do you think the CEO of Enronn had going out of Business in his 3-5 year plan? Again the answer is no.
Now I am not saying don’t make plans. What I am saying is that 3-5 is such a long time, when it take 6-8 years to arrive. do you know how many times I have put getting Wonderland done on my 3-5 year plan? So many times.
