I feel that Ravenloft is a good starting point for this blog, because when it comes to settings Ravenloft is my jam.

Now, There are two things I think that Wizards can do to bring new life to this setting.

The first on Wizards. I don’t know if it’s an an adventure book, or some kind of other book, but If Duskmoor was to find itself on the wrong side of the Mist, Would not only bring new life to the setting, but will bring more lore to the setting.

The second thing is to get More stuff on The Dm’s Guild that is more then just a Vampire and his Castle, there is a lot more to Ravenloft then those two two things. And yes your right this does tie in to the first, because wizards could lead the way with exploring more of Ravenloft.

Now as we begin I know that I said this was going to be three parts but, the more I thought about it the next part doesn’t really fit here and I have decided to give it one more year before I shut down shop it’s a hard year for everyone.

Now my triggers are people like the person that started me down this path. since they pointed out that I would need six new Patreon Members a day. In order for me to reach my goal of 1k paid members by October 20th 2025, and that was most likely not going to happen. I have not seen them on the Discord server where they engaged me.

Why do people have to be like that? I have not had to deal with them for some time but the men that want to point out that I am hot, and therefore can’t be a lesbian because Hot woman can’t be or because I am wasting my talents I don’t know.

What’s happening this week?

It’s time to get Wonderland going. Now that I have finished Lady Fear, I can work on Wonderland everyday.

I will be making pre-gen this week for the C&C game I will be running at Rage con.

A few weeks ago my friend wrote a blog post about how Wizards of the Coast needs to come up with some new ideas. https://theotherside.timsbrannan.com/2025/05/why-d-55-2024-needs-new-campaign-world.html. I pointed out that at the beginning of the year that Wizards was looking to hire a person, and their so job would be to enhance the content they already have, and to come up with new settings. I have not heard much about this new job, but any ideas they had for new settings would not be seen until the end of this year and beginning of next year.

And thus we are here with Fuck Wizbros but. A new post were we can look at all the things Wizards could do to bring life back to Dungeons and Dragons. In this first installment we are going to look at 3 problems that are the real issue and until they are fixed nothing is gong to change.

1. The first problem is that the company that owns Wizards is more about slapping an IP that belongs other people on their own product and we all ready have a Warhammer Fantasy, so we are not going to get a D&D, Warhammer Crossover.
2. The second problem is that Wizbros doesn’t have the staff to really get into creating new things. I am sure the numbers are less, but the last know count was the D&D team has 15 people. So they might be the ones that come up with the idea for a new setting, but after that they never do anything with it.
3. DM’s Guild. Now aside that Wizbros is getting money from the guild it’s not really a problem other then because there is so much stuff on it any time wizards puts out a setting they don’t really need to fix problem 2.

This last week as been a week indeed. I did not get as much done as I wanted to. That’s what happens when your kids are sick for a whole week. This is not the first time I have wanted to write this blog topic, will call it a topic. But last time I talked myself out of it kind of for the same reason I don’t make fun of people at the Post office anymore. I was think about that today, as I thought about and it’s the the people at the post office fault that they didn’t learn the things I learned at a young age. But I learned what I did for two reasons. 1 my mom was lazy and I got to do a lot. 2 my grand father know I would need to know things.

I think my new thing is laughing at what sets people off, I don’t mean like trying to piss people off, even though that brings it’s one fun. What I mean is what get’s someone to go out of there way to do or say something that makes me think what the fuck is wrong with you?

I don’t remember what it was last time that got me thinking about writing about it, but this time it was a post about my goals. My goal with my Patreon is to get 1k paying members before October 20th. What’s happening this week?

I have so many projects going on right now. I need to spend one hour working on my book. I should spend a second hour working on my other book, but I most likely wont.

The Final Dream: I am going to get everything set up Monday, and get the Pre-launch page sent out.

Lady Fear: After I am done with other things this week I will get this finished. I told someone I would have two adventures out by June so I better hurry up and get it out.

Wonderland: I was just thinking it will be nice when I am done with Lady Fear, because then all my time will be sent on Wonderland, and not just the days that I work, and try to get stuff done but don’t do a very good job.

There has not been much writing, due to family vacation, but I am trying to get some done on Wonderland.

Family vacation lasts until Tuesday, on Wednesday I will get back to Lady Fear.

Anyway I think we all know what topics I like talking about but I also think it matters who I am talking to. my favorite topic to talk about is D&D, but when I was working at DQ many years ago. There was a kid that that’s all he wanted to talk about everyday, and I just wished he would shut up.

I like talking about clothes, and shoes.

I use to like talking about sports, and really have only keep up with it, so I could talk to a co-worker but now he’s on the night shift and I think I care even less about sports. if my D&D buddy ever stopped liking sports I don’t know what I would do. my kids like playing sports but we don’t really about it.

I like talking about Music.
