This last week at The Swamp was a hard week. I did not get any writing done until Saturday, and then only got maybe an hour of writing in.

I am thinking this week will be much better.

This past week as been good, I am almost done with the spells for the Temptress level 5. I got the books I need for my next C&C conversion so I have started working on that.

first get level 5 spells done for the Temptress, I have four more spells I have to come up with and then I can write descriptions for them.

Second get one pre-gen done everyday for the Temple of Zeus.

This feels like a good time to remind my readers about the Ravenloft game that is happening for my birthday on October 21 2023. Oh yes the personality of this Wizards would be to take over the whole of Ravenloft. Sometimes that’s just what you have to do.

She would be a Necromancer, so most of her spells would come from that list, but I have also been on this shadow magic kick so I would pull from that list too.

I was going to write this post the other day, but after an encounter with a person that felt the world’s financial problems are caused because of Starbucks, I was just not in the mood, but now there is a prompt to get me back on track.

So the future plans are 1. Gary con next year. That is going to cost a lot of money, even aside from the travel expenses, I need 300 dollars for make-up, I might get a second Alice in Wonderland costume for the EX 2 game I am going to run, and I would like to buy a new dress and new shoes.

2. After Gary Con the plan is next year to go to Disneyland during their spooky season. It would be nice to be able to go to both parks for two days, but we will see what happens. Everyone will have a different costume each day.

3. We want to drive to Canada and see the Northern lights.

This past week has been pretty productive, I got work done on the Temptress just about every day and finished the level 3 spells, and only have seven more spells to come up with for level 4.

The answer is yes, I am seeking security, but owning my own business is an adventure.

Of course, it is, I mean this blog is called the adventures of Chantel, where sometimes I answer the writing prompts from Word Press or the discussion of the day from Mike Evans at DIY games. Most of the time it’s stories about people that have never been to the post office.

Sometimes the adventures don’t get shared, like the other day when some clown thought they would be able to scam me on eBay. I had posted a bra for 20 dollars and not even five minutes had passed and they made an offer to buy it for 100 dollars. I know it was a scam, but 100 would have been nice so I accepted the offer and yep, right after I accepted it, they sent a picture of a handwritten note, letting me know they had some questions, and to send it to a different address than the one they have on eBay.

Trying to get to cons is an adventure on its own. I am starting to think I won’t be going to Gary Con next year, but I already have my badge for this year’s Garyhwak gon. I have to work that weekend, but I am going to try and get into the main event, and I am thinking about running EX1 Dungeonland. I also might try and get into the games that Carlos Listing is going to be running.
