I have finished all the pre-gens for the new printing of The King’s Castle, and I am about to start working on Wonderland for the day, but before I got to that I thought I wanted to write a blog post.

At my work, I get 3.1 hours of PTO every two weeks. So if I want to go to Gary Con next year and Troll con, and I do. I can’t go to anything that is not on a day I already have off. So here’s the deal Con’s that are happening on my Days off.

North Texas RPG Con: Now this one is a mixed bag for me, I have wanted to go to this con for a few years but, I don’t want to give the State of Texas any of my money. That being said I am trying to get my wife to go see the grandkids so I can go to the con.

Salt Con Summer: This one might be the best for me because I can ride the bus, and get my ticket for free for doing enough DM’ing.

There might be another con in October but no one ever knows if it’s happening until like the week before it happens.

I have been thinking about starting my own con in October. I really should go talk to the people that I need to talk to, to make this happen.

Wonderland: I am hoping that on Saturday I can go work on the world map. I need to create a Goblin for the Basic version of the game.

When Ha$bro made their move for more money, I needed somewhere to write, and I thought about working with Goodman Games, I even sent in the contract to do so. but it really bugged me that Joseph Goodman has to review every 3rd party product because he doesn’t want anything getting out there that can give his company a bad name, and I understand that 100%, however, if you are worried about giving your company a bad name maybe don’t do stupid stuff.

Why do you support Troll Lord Games but not Goodman Games? That is a good question especially since I know people have already said they will not buy anything with the C&C name on it. What happened at Troll Lord Games. One day on Twitter there was a post that was for employee’s but for some reason, it was shared with everyone on Twitter, the post said That Politics don’t belong in Gaming.

On to my reason for still using C&C, at the end of the day, the reason is that Troll Lords are not policing anyone as long as they don’t go to the extreme on what they write they don’t care, and even if they did try to care, I would just point out that Politics don’t belong in gaming.
