Yep, I have to do another test to figure something out. but this time it’s on the podcast side.

Also I was hoping to get all my post in to Podcast form, but it is making them not in order, so I am not going to finish the ones that have not been done.

That’s right Dudes it’s the 69th adventure of Chantel, and as I was opening wordpress to write this blog, I thought oh it’s suppose to be This Week in Gaming, but there is really nothing to share with you this week and what I am thinking is maybe more important than, This Week In Gaming.

It’s still a few months before November and I think about my yearly goals and maybe my five year or ten year goals, but I am always thinking about things so I can figure out what my goals are going to be.

One thing is I have a friend that puts out a new product every quarter, so for a year, and I was talking to another friend and he said that if his Kickstarter was to fund, he would be able to put out a new product every other month. I mean my production list is big enough that I could have a product every other month, but could I write and type and get art ready that fast? I like the idea of doing something every three months.

I also need to figure out away to get at least to new Goblins for my patreon every month. I am kind of starting to get burned out again on that front. https://www.patreon.com/user?u=14964776&fan_landing=true.

I was listening to The Sleep with Me podcast and the host was saying in did some research and he found that you would only get 1% of patreon from Twitter, that means I should have five right now. So I kind of wonder if that is just for podcasts.

It took me a minute to figure out what my goals, I still might not have three. But the two that I have are pretty good I think.

Yes if I could sell one or two every day that would be great, but I will take three this week, and then see where we go from there.

Well Guess what. There are reasons you never say never, and one of those reason is because in Q1 we are going back to Kamagawa. The name of the set would make one think they are now power rangers.

But some of the art makes me wonder it they are doing Shadow Run, and they are street Samurai.

Now I know just because we are getting a new Magic set in Kamagawa doesn’t mean we would get a D&D/MtG crossover, but it doesn’t change the fact that it would still be a good Idea to do so.

There has not been a lot going on this week at The Swamp.

The Final Dream: I know I said that typing The Temple of Golden Nuts was going to be the easiest goal to reach this week, but I don’t think I am going to make it. I will get some typing done when I get done here.

Bloodmoor Keep: The plan was to get some writing done while I was at work, but then I started learning about the company that i am working for. So I guess I will try and get some done today. I need to come up with a name for a plant that can attack the mind, and then I need to get some Psionics for this plant monster.

Ravenloft: Still have so much to do, I will get some ready done today, and tomorrow at work, I can write some more for this adventure.

It’s a day late but the second jab kicked my butt, so I did not do any planing or goal setting until today.

Alright the first thing is I need to finish typing The Temple of Golden nuts and have everything ready to send off to the art people. This is going to be the easiest one of them all.

I have to get working on Bloodmoor Keep and my Ravenloft adventure, I will be able to get a lot done on both of these projects this week.

Know I know you are thinking but Chantel you write adventure Modules and this blog that I am reading right now. And yes you are right, but if you have noticed sometimes the blogs are short, but that is not really the issue.

The things I hate are the Hey I just finished an adventure, and this is why you should buy it, or when you sign up to run your game at a con, and they want you to tell them about the adventure. I get why one needs to do it, but it sucks.

I also don’t like the writing that comes with applying for a new job, and having to update your resume for 10 years of work experience. Man 10 years that is a lot. do you know how many jobs I have worked in 10 years? Like 8.

The topic came up of someone looking for a horror game system, now I love me some Ravenloft but for what ever reason I knew not to bring up Ravenloft because it felt like that was not what they were looking for, so of course the answer is CoC, but now there is also the Aliens RPG.

In this discussion some one said that 5e Ravenloft is the Disney version of the game. And this is where I get to my point. I don’t see a problem with this, I mean yeah maybe 5e is not everyone’s cup of tea, but have you seen The Nightmare Before Christmas? That movie is crazy scary.

Now I kind of what to do a Nightmare Before Christmas adventure, but back to the point maybe. I guess the point is like always you do what you want, but if you are looking for the super scary Ravenloft might not be the way to go, but it also could depend on how much you put into, so until next time keep gaming.

Alright today’s question is if you were on a rocket to where ever to save mankind and you only got to take three books what would they be? First I feel like we should be able to take more because even if only 12 people went on this trip not all of them would take books and even if they did that’s only 36 books. but okay I will only take 3 books.

One person that answered said they would take books that they wrote and I like that idea, but I would not take any books that I wrote because I can write more plus if the people are like the dude at Dairy Queen the would not care that I published something and would get mad that I even showed them.

So here we go. the first book would be my OSRIC book because it is the Player’s handbook the DMG and the Monster book all in one book and everything that I would need to keep writing.

The second book would be The Illad and The Odyssey, I know it’s been about 3 years since I stared readying it again and I am not even done with the first part, but I think it is my third favorite book, Okay I lied my second pick would be The Once and Future King.

And my third pick would be Douglas Adams The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. This is number two on my list right be low The once and Future King and the Illad and The Odyssey.

Man I say that book the only book I have a copy of right now is The Illad and The Odyssey. So until next time keep gaming.

I am not sure I am sold on the name of this weekly blog, but it’s the best I have right now, so I guess the question is do I number it each week or just call it this Gamer’s Goals?

I got my two week goal done, The Temple of Golden nuts is ready for typing.

This week my goals are to get more work done on the Ravenloft adventure for Ice and Dice, and Bloodmoor keep for Virtual Greyhawk con. I would like to make 50 dollars this week, and I want to add two more people to the patreon.

How I am I going to get more work done on Ravenloft? With being in the typing phase of The Final Dream I can write more Ravenloft, I will shot to do that everyday, but I have two days this week set aside just for Ravenloft. It is the same for Bloodmoor Keep, I have one day set for that.
