In my last post I said I would spend one hour a week working on Saltmarsh, and getting it ready for my game. This week every free minute I have spend trying to find a new job, even now as I write this post I am waiting for someone to answer the phone to take care of some things.

I am thinking about trying to get a game going back at the game store, and if I do that I might not do U1 to Ravenloft. I will give them the same options U1 to Ravenloft or CH1-5.

Wonderland: I am still working on the Illusionist. I have about 7 more spells to create for level 2.

Ozzland: I am working on the details of Night’s Edge Forest, I might be able to start working on an adventure this week.

I need to spend an hour on my book, and get some writing done on my side project.

I hate when I have time to think about what I am going to write, and then I get home from spending time with my wife and ready to write and it’s all gone. Know you can say why don’t you write it down. Well I don’t always have writing tools do to that, and the notes on my phone I don’t really like.

Now the just of what I was thinking about is how I keep thinking that I am done in October. that is why When I was doing my Backerkick the end day was October, because if I did not get the money I needed then I would just shut it down. and the goal of getting 1k paying followers again if I did not reach the goal then I would just shut it down.

Working on new projects like Ozzland, and keep the hammer down on Wonderland.

I am working on getting two mapping programs so I can get better maps and a template so I can have better formatting in my books. I will redo the Final Dream Saga, the cover art will stay the same because I made a deal with my kid, but anything new coming out will have different art because my kid is going a different direction.

I need to redo my production list, so I can have it ready for my yearly update that is coming in about one month.

Now lets talk about my Never Ending Goals.

I think part of the reason I keep going is okay aside from this is what I want to do with my life. I have had people tell me I am half way to being a Sexy Bitch that gets to play D&D everyday. Now how to reach the other half.

Well it’s back to school so trying to get my son that wanted to play, and this didn’t to commit to playing has gone out the window.

I still have idea’s and will try to get a gaming at the game store. So maybe I should spend an hour a week working on this ideas.

It happened again, and I am sure it will happen more times. While I was sitting at the game store some one said it’s the law that company’s make as much money as they can. Now it gets better because this person said the way the last is written it focuses on the bonus of short term gain.

Oh man I have some bad news for you. First it’s not a Law and if it is there are a lot of companies that should be facing fines and the most. Second even if we are only talking about short term let’s say 3-6 months companies are still leaving a shit ton of money on the table and are not facing any criminal charges for breaking the law.

Now because it was at a game store and they were talking about Wizbro’s we will start there. Now if Wizbro’s was by law forced to make as much money as they can in a three month period, they would make sure everyone that wanted a Sonic Secret Lair got one. The system they have now is like a bidding war just to be able to get one, and it’s not a guarantee that you will get one, which means Wizbro’s is losing money. Plus they are not reprinting Secret Lair cards to normal cards anymore so if you miss out on Sonic Wizbro’s has missed out on money.

Now let’s talk about some other things. Target in February reported that they had lost 15 billion dollars after deciding that they were no longer going to focus on DEI. So even before their three months period was up, they had already lost 15 billion dollars. What happen to the CEO for losing all that money. He was issued a pay cut, and Target started looking for a new CEO. But what about the Law? Nothing..

You would think in America where the only thing that matters is the Almighty Dollar there would be more done to enforce this law that says you have to make as much money.

Now I know that even though Monopolies are illegal there are still some, but in a world where you have to make as much money as you can there should not be a lot of game companies like Pazio or Troll Lord Games, or The Swamp. There would just be Wizbro’s because they would have to buy any company that took away money from them.

It’s the same for Victoria Secret they would be forced to buy Torrid and Adore Me, and all the little boutiques.

I should be writing reading my BlueHolmes Rule book so I can get back to working on Wonderland or working on character sheets and Magic items for next months Adventures in Music or working on Ozzland. But here I am writing a blog about how not very many things have worked out this year.

Now for those of you that ready my blog every Sunday you know I have said at least twice that this year has been a year.

At some point last year I started looking in to go to some events like farmers markets and stuff and setting up shop there. Well it didn’t take long for that to work out.

I was able to go to Rage Con this year. I am happy about that I was able to take a flyer to Game Kasl, I don’t this that spelling is right, but I know they don’t spell Castle the normal way. They only allow flyer’s to be up for one week. I think I am going to have to start sending them a flyer every week.

I do with I could have done more while I was there. But maybe next year will be a better year at Rage con.

It’s once again time to talk about getting ready for the U1 to Ravenloft game that I am going to do with my kids. Side Note my son who wanted to do this game doesn’t want to do it anymore, so we will see what happens.

Last week we made characters for my oldest kid and her boyfriend. They are both playing half-elfs.

She wanted to play a Thief, she thought about playing a Paladin, but if she did that her boyfriend wouldn’t be able to play an Assassin.

We have a montely crew here a Cleric/Fighter/Magic-User, a Fighter/Thief, a Thief, and an Assassin.
