I am so tired. Job hunting sucks, and it’s even worse when you have no job. I have been so focused on that, that I have not done much of anything else. And I am sure you already know this but the idea that it’s easier to get a job when you have a job is some next level bullshit.

I applied for two jobs last night, and this morning I got an email from both places that I have not been selected to move on to the next stage. I had a phone interview with a Solar company, but I know that solar is starting to lay people off.

It’s good to be writing a blog about gaming or starting the process to being able to game.

I am starting a game with my kids and their friends. We are going to be running U1 The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh, and some how they will find there way into Ravenloft.

So far we have only created two characters. A Cleric/Fighter/Magic-user and a Fighter/Thief.

It’s been a busy day here at The Swamp. Most of it was spent helping my wife with her business. I think that’s how it’s going to be tomorrow too. Today she went and looked at renting a building.

I did have to go to the copy center and post office. I feel like I am at the copy center so much they should know who I am, and maybe the do but they don’t care and honestly I am okay with that.

The work I did for The Swamp today was working on the side project. I did some research for Wonderland, but have decided what I came up with I will use in Ozzland.

I got a DM from someone on discord today, asking about getting in on my Ravenloft game. They told me about their character a little and I was like first I deleted my game a month ago. and second and here’s the important part in 1e first level characters don’t get strongholds. And before anyone @’s me, I made it very clear when I posted the game that it was 1e.

I wanted to write a blog Yesterday, but I did not want today’s post to be the 1000th post. Turns out I should have done that post yesterday. Happy 1000th post Chantel. It’s only taken 10 years to do this but it’s still cool I think.

Most of my game writing right now is just readying. So not as much is happening as I want it to but I guess that’s how it goes some times.

I would like to convert Escape From Cyclops Island but I need money for a cover, and I have a few more projects that I need to save money for.

I need to get art for my box set that is 170 dollars. I would like to buy a Templet for my adventures that is 250 dollars. And soon I will need art for Wonderland.

Wonderland is coming along right now I am reading about the Barbarian, and I think I am going to need to finish ready the Blueholmes book before I can move on with this class. So a couple of Days on that.

I had to go to the post office today to mail Magic Cards. Man it’s getting crazy. I can now only sale magic cards worth 5 dollars or more on Ebay if I am going to make any money doing that.

What’s happening this week.

I need to spend at least one hour working on my book.

I need to spend some time working on my side quest project.

I need to get back to working on Wonderland. There are a lot of Classes to get done.

A new Adventure in Music comes out on Friday.

Now I have shared in an early post that Rage con was a good time. I wish I was able to do more, but that is a different story for a different time.

After a time my wife asked how it was and if I had fun. I mean I already told her it was good but this was her way of saying that she wants to go next year. This great for me because I can have a booth and still run games.

Boy was I wrong. She wants to set up her massage chair and make money doing that. And good for her, I will do whatever I need to make that happen. But now I need to find someone to run my booth. And that is going to cost money. Which means I am not going to be able to go to Gary Con, unless I start making good money.

The other day after applying for a job, I posted on Facebook that I have stopped counting but this year I have applied for a shit ton of jobs, but only had one interview. And someone responded that the universe was waiting for the perfect job.

Now I know they were just trying to help me feel good, but this brings me to the point of this post. If the Universe is waiting for the perfect job, then the Universe don’t believe that Chantel being a Sexy Bitch that get’s to play D&D every day is not the perfect job.
