When I started my journey to get a degree in business, one of the first things they taught us was the idea of Social Responsibility, which is the idea that a company has a responsibility to make the world a better place. Now look I know that you know this idea is bullshit and that is fine. If you need an example of this just look at Ha$bro’s cash grab at the beginning of the year. It was done in the name of protecting the brad from Racists
The crazy thing about Ha$bro is we should have seen it coming, I have been telling people for years that Wizards wokeness was fake.
Okay, so we know that if a company has shareholders they are not going to be Socially Responsible unless it makes the shareholders money. But there are a lot of companies that don’t have shareholders and they aren’t doing a very good job of being Socially Responsible and maybe we need to be better at holding them accountable.
