Here we are in a new year, and with that comes 31 days of Character Creation. I love doing this. It was easier last year because I did not have a job, but I would kind of rather have a job. Also last year my Twitter friend @GMJolly did it. It year I see that my friend at Otherside publishing is doing it.

I am getting things ready to run two Ravnica games, I am going to be running one for my patrons and another one at a local game store.

I have been working a little on the Temple of Set, between work and not feeling well I have not been doing much other than the character creation.

I think that instead of doing a blog on Saturday, we are just going to be accountable at the start of this blog. So how did last week go? The goals were to finish Level 2 of The Temple of Set. That is done, I was a little worried that I was not going to get it done because I did not even start working on it until Friday.

That second goal last week was to work on the Ravnica adventure. I was able to get one thing done. I was thinking about starting a game at one of the stores here, so I need to get on that.

It’s only been two days and I am already starting to wonder why I am doing the 31 days of character creation, so that is one of the goals to make sure I am doing it everyday.

I am so close and yet so far away from being done with the Temple of Set, so that is one the list of goals this week. To work on it everyday.

Wonderland, It’s the week I work on that. I have to work this Friday so I am not sure I am going to be able to work on that map, but there are other things I can do, like work on some of the races

Alright here we go, there is not much to talk about gaming this week. I need to make my character for my play by post game, I was thinking she was going to be a bard, but she is a Paladin of conquest.

The other day one of my nerd friends ask what class the Disney Princesses would be, and I am writing a blog to answer the question, because yes the correct answer is they are all bards, but maybe some of them have a dual-class. Like Snow White, she is a Bard/Ranger

So now that I have answered that one, let’s look at the rest of them.

Cinderella: I am not really sure, she would be anything other than a bard. I guess there are some versions of her story that maybe you could say a Magic-user.

Aurora: Oh man, Aurora is my girl. She would be a Ranger, as much as I don’t like the ranger in 5e.

Ariel: She is 100% an Artificer

Belle: Maybe she took after her father and she would be an Artificer, but I really think she is a Lore Master.

Jasmine: she would be a rogue.

Pocahontas: She’s a Ranger.

Mulan: I don’t like Multi-class more than once, but some people do it, and Mulan would be the Bard/Ranger/Rogue.

Tiana: Magic-User

Rapunzel: Ranger maybe

Merida: Ranger maybe a Barbarian

Moana: Ranger.

Raya: She is a Barbarian, I mean even in the movie the other Barbarian says She can’t see us she is blinded by her rage.

Now as you read this post I know some of you will think that Chantel is doing the same thing she is asking us to stop doing, and in this post maybe I am, but am really not focusing on that news of Pazio, and more about what some dumbass said.

So here it is, over the Christmas break, Paizo announced that any new adventures would not use the plot hook of Slavery. Please stop buying in the fake outrage. But what do I mean? I mean the Reason that WotC and Pazio are so loud about the changes they are making. 1 They have to be it brings them in lots of money, 2 if you want them to stop being so loud about it, stop watching all the Youtubers crying about all these changes because we all know that off-screen they are okay with it because we all know that it is not effecting my home game. 3 and this is where me writing this blog comes in, stop letting them divide us.

I was going to get the exacted words, but the post was deleted. So after rambling on this guy said that everyone that uses the OGL is racist and mad that WotC is not letting them be racists. This made me mad for two reasons. first, the article was not even about WotC, It was about Pazio and Pathfinder, and the changes came about because one of the Pazio writers was a little overzealous in his writing about how the Adventure starts with the players being slaves. and the second Pathfinder doesn’t have an OGL, so unless you are trying to point that somehow Pathfinder is better than D&D why would you even bring this up?

This crap like this that are the reason that I don’t play Pathfinder, the Game I play is already full of dicks, why would I want to play Pathfinder and have more dicks to deal with?

Now I am very while aware that there is a group of people that want to die in 1850, I won’t say any names TSR3 and the 37 people that somehow keep getting conned into giving up their money for Kickstarter that will never be fulfilled, but 40 people do not make up the entire OSR community. And I would venture to guess that not even half for that 40 are even creating anything with or without the OGL.

So again if you truly believe that if a person can do whatever they want at their gaming Table, Then stop worrying about what Wizards or Pazio is doing.

Dickey Jones is the goblin seen in this picture. I have added him as an NPC in a PBP game that I am in, this is a new game. But now I need to make him a character in my game somewhere, maybe that will be my first character next month for 31 days of Character creation.

I bought the City of Greyhawk and Hollow City boxsets this week.

It’s been a good week mostly. I have been plugging away on the Temple of Set and will get back to that when I am done with this post.

I have been thinking that if I am going to get this done by the end of the month, I am going to have to make the next two levels really small, and I am not down for that. So it might be late, but really does it even matter?

Wonderland, I got all the Islands of the sea done, and the Mountain ranges. I think the next time I work on it it will be time for Rivers and lakes. I have decided that next year I am going to spend most of the year working on This setting.
