It should be a This week in gaming day, but with work, there has not been much gaming or writing. I have done a little but it’s nothing to write home about. Next week it will pick up more.

I got an email from Anchor, they have found the issue now they need to figure out how to fix it, so maybe in another six months I will able to be able to put a link to Spotify back on the blog post.

It’s time to start working on Wonderland and Ravnica again. So I will be spending two weeks working on Wonderland and two weeks working on Ravnica. Then at the start of the new year I should be ready to start test playing the Ravnica adventure.

In Wonderland I will finish the Mountian Ranges and then we will move on to maybe the rivers?

I think I want to start talking about how I do with reaching my goals each week before I set new ones on Sunday.

I have failed kind of, I don’t think this was an official goal, but I decided I was going to get two goblins and I opened Facebook Messenger to talk to people about it, but then I never brought it up. I have not written as much as I would have liked, but I did indeed work on Chaos everyday this week, and will get a lot done when I am done with this.

The last goal this week is to finish reading Magic and Shit. I have not even looked at that book yet, and I don’t know if I will.

If you remember in the last post I told you there was other stuff but I did not really want to put it with the Setting stuff I was talking about. How now it’s time for the other stuff, I don’t know why I called it part 1, I don’t think there is going to be a part two but maybe.

I want to share a story with you. But before I do, I got another email from Anchor and they have changed it based on my last email to them, but it’s still said hey we are working on it. I should email them and just say let me know when the issue is fixed. I have also written 100 posts on WordPress I thought there would have been a thing like they send me when I have posted for 5 days in a row, or when I hit other mile markers.

Alright Story Time, Back in the day when I was still writing the blog on Blog Spot I worked with a podcasting network. Every time I would write a blog, I would post it to that companies Facebook page. One day the owner of the company send me a message that said hey don’t post your Adventures of Chantel any more people don’t like the photos that come with it. You can post any other thing you write just not those. Now I was mad a little people the owner of the company know me and knows what I said for and could have told those people to you know what to do, Kay but it’s your company I will follow your rules. Then I did not post anything to that channel and checked my numbers and they did not change didn’t go up didn’t go down. And that did not make me very happy, if you are going to cry just to cry, maybe go find something to do.

Now enter my last post about goals. https://theswamppit.com/2021/11/07/this-gamers-goals-13/. I try to post stuff everywhere, and one of those places is discord, While I got a message that maybe I am missing my target because sexy people don’t play D&D.

See here’s the think maybe back in the day there were less sexy people playing but they still did, and now it’s very much the sexy cool thing to do. Oh and here is the most important part, I have used goblin photos for This week and Gaming, and I have used a Galm shoot and guess what. there are more views of this week in gaming. I have my style and if you don’t like it that’s cool, I won’t even get mad, but when you try and make my style fit what you want, that does make me mad.

I have been trying to write this blog since I got home from work at 3:30 and it’s now 5:04 and this is all I have written.

I got an update from Anchor the other day, it was nothing more than hey we are still working on it, so I emailed them back and said that’s great but you have been working on it for two months so we need to know when it’s going to be fixed. They have no idea because they are still investigating it.

The Question of the Day is what is the best setting in each edition, that was the question, and since I am a D&D nerd those are the editions we are going to worry about, and I am 100% that is what they are talking about too.

The Easy answer is Ravenloft.

The hard answer is, I like Ravenloft and Ravnica. But I have been playing for a long time and have not really thought about it. I mean when I started playing my DM never said this adventure takes place in FR or Greyhawk or whatever. And I guess When we played the Red hand of Doom it didn’t matter, I don’t know.

I guess for me another answer would be any setting that is not Forgotten Realms. Even though I said there is other stuff, I think I will save that for tomorrow. So until next time keep gaming.

The next goal is to write on the Chaos project every day this week. Last Friday I did not work on it, because by the time I got home from work I was dead and did not do anything. But I really need to make sure I am working on it all the time, so I can get it done and move on to the next thing. The guy that asked me to write this, really like the cover for it and asked me to make the two girls on the cover some NPC’s in the game, so I need to go do that.

The last goal you would be simple, but it has been like a month since I got it, but I need to Finish reading Magic and Shit by Planet X games.

Alright, here we go. This week I will be promoting the hell out of The Temple of Golden Nuts. I would share a link with you but I don’t have one yet. That is the first thing on the list to get done tomorrow.

It’s been a tough week, I have thought a lot about calling it quits, I have not sold anything for two months and the patreon is losing more people than I am getting. But I don’t like the sound of not doing what I want to, so we will keep going.

I am using the old and new Ravenloft feel to write this so I hope it turns out the way I want it to.
