I need to buy some books from Troll Lord Games before I can start converting The Temple of Zeus to C&C, so I think the only goal this week is to get more work done on the Temptress.

This week has been okay, I guess. I thought my newish job would be good for writing because I could take an hour-long lunch if I wanted to, I have not done that since moving to the lab. I have 2.5 Pre-gens done for the C&C adventure.

*Discussion of the Day*- If you could go back in time and see a single concert, what would it be? You know, there have been only two concerts I have gone to in my 39 years on this earth. way back in the day, I went to the TMNT concert, and a few years ago I went to Paula Abdul. Concerts really aren’t my thing.

But I have been thinking a lot lately about the idea of Time Travel, and you can’t change the cannon, but I wonder if going back and watching a concert would change the cannon? I wonder what I would change that would not mess with the cannon because those would be the things that I would want to change.

Other things would stay the same like changing my mind about going to the LDS Business Collage because it’s only a 2-year school and that just seems dumb to go to a 2-year school when BYU which I would never two was a 4-year school.

I might change my degree from business to creative writing, but maybe not.

One Facebook ad that has done me some good is the state of Utah’s desire to help women Business owners. The other day I was looking at Inspire Utah and found SCORE, it’s a place where people can get mentors. And now I have one.

My Mentors name is Adam, he seems cool. Today we just talked about what I do and about my website. So now I am working on coming up with a Call to Action to put up on the home page. https://theswamppit.com/.

I have already talked about how I miss my dead friends, so am not really going to talk about that. But another friend passed away this week, and that makes me sad. I have lost a few friends this year and it makes me think even more I have to get to Gary con next year. There are two people I have to meet before one of the three of us crosses the rainbow bridge in the sky.

Does it really though or is it just the people that use Social Media that suck? The answer is yes. There is this belief that if you want to do business in today’s age you have to be online. But I am not sure that is true.

There is a game store that when I started school in 2010 was making 300,000 dollars a year, and now they have four game stores and they post one photo every three months at best.

Let’s start with this blog, sometimes when I write a good post there will be some dude that talks about how blogs used to be the place where all the cool kids would hang out, and I would say it still can be nothing has changed. Okay, things have changed we are three years out of a worldwide pandemic that messed up a lot of things, but the point is that blogs can still be the place where the cool kids hang out nothing is stopping us, but us.

At the being of this year I was getting 85-100 views a day on this website, the crazy thing is that all the track to this site was coming from an article that was published by the Ten-foot Pole three years ago about how Castle Roan was like cooking a burrito in a Microwave. https://www.lulu.com/shop/chantel-jones/adventure-module-r1-castle-roan/paperback/product-p4en28.html?q=Chantel+jones&page=1&pageSize=4. Why did it take three years for people to either find that post or find this blog?

Twitter: My life has been a million times better since I left that platform and I am not 100% sure why anyone still uses it, okay I know what some people use it, but those people hate everything and everyone.

IG: I have 322 followers on IG and the most hearts I get on anyone’s photo is 10, that’s only 3% of my follower showing up. I remember reading this one article about the then-owner of IG turning off the hearts because it’s not a contest. But it is man it really is, and when you are trying to get businesses to notice you, you need all the hearts you can get.

I started following this one lady on IG because we both Hashtagged this Pantyhose company, she now has a paid partnership and it’s not even with that Pantyhose company.

Facebook: oh boy Facebook, in that last two months I have 24 hours bans on avg of every there day, and those bans come in the middle of me doing nothing more than sharing my memories. It’s hard to grow a business if you cant post.

This past week has been good, I got some work done on the Temptress. I have maybe 7 spells left to get done for level two. I also am almost done with the new mine for The King’s Castle.

This week is going to be a busy week at The Swamp, I have to go and find a venue to have a con that I want to do. I am hoping I can do it this year, but feel that most likely that it won’t start until next year. I got a mentor and will be meeting with him on Friday. And lots and lots of writing to get done.

There is so much to write about but so many other projects that need to be done. I have two posts that I have wanted to write for a long time.

The other day I had to mail a D&D book, and I took my wife with me, I told the postman that the package could go Media mail, but he charged me First Class cause he was busy chatting with my wife. That’s the last time I take her with me to the post office.

Today I went to this female business owner work space thing and my computer would not connect to the wifi, apparently the college thought my computer was an alarm system. So it took almost two hours for it to figure that out.
