Wow, so according to WordPress for 3 years now. I have only been doing blogs and trying to make the site work for me for a year.

I got all my games resigned up for Gary Con. I wasn’t going to do it because of work, but I still have 470 hours after this week so I can’t be hired until May so I said nope I am doing the con, I don’t think I will get any sales from it, but I have to try. Because as much as I like my job, it’s not what I want to do forever. Now I just need to figure out what I am going to wear.Al

Alright, so about this week’s goals. I need to map out the final level of The Temple of Zeus. But I need to finish some monsters for level 3, I will finish the one I need tomorrow and then finish the level and then start mapping level 4.

I also need to make sure I am promoting the Final Dream Bundle every day this week even on the days I work.

I really need to make sure I write This week in Gaming Blog on Wednesday before I go back to work.

How did I do on last week’s goals? I think we will call it 50/50, I did not get done with the level of The Temple of Set that I wanted to, but I have spent a day and a half working on the Ravnica adventure.

I really need to get done with the Temple of Set. I got a Facebook memory from a year ago, about working on the Basement level of this adventure. So I have been working on it for a year and I still have a level and a half to do.

Alright with 31 days out of the way I can spend all three of my breaks at work, working on the Temple of Set, and on Saturday I can spend the whole day working on this project. I really need to get done with level three this week, I have a lot of Monsters that I am going to have to write. I really only need one of the Gay Frogs, but I figure I better write all of them at one time.

I was supposed to start my in-person Ravnica on the 13th but my wife decided that we are going to my aunt’s house for the family Super Bowl party. So I guess I get one more week to get more writing done. I need to finish the first mission in this time.

There are other things I need to do like getting my business entity renewed and set up my wife’s business and getting our taxes done.

As I write this Please understand that I support that we are redefining some things in our lives. I just wish two of those things would be what it means to be a sell-out or teaching our kids that it is 100% okay to be a sell-out and second what For the Love of the Game Means.

John Stockton one of the Greatest point Guards of all time did what he did because of The love of the Game, and he was happy. Karl Malone who I will only talk about this one time also did what he did because he loved the game, and yeah he was a sell-out he went to the Lakers because he wanted a Ring, and if not for blowing out his knee he would have gotten it.

I use to think that I wanted to Sell-out and would give up my writing to go work at WotC. Now I just want to be a Sell-out by doing my writing. It’s okay to be a Sell-out that is kind of the go of the goal of writers on band members or sportsballers. to make a living doing what you are doing.

So why is it that in the world of Role Playing games everything should be done in the name of The Love of the Game and why is it that means somehow everything should be free useless you are WotC or Pazio or whatever other big-name gaming company people are supporting.

Now sometimes I will fight the idea of Pro-Dming or paying to play. There is a game store in my area that made it sound like they were charging to play Adventure league and that is 100% everything not what Al is about even though to play AL you have to pay to get into cons.

Put most of the time I support Pro DM’s people need to be able to eat, and if this is how people want to pay the bills then good for them. If you don’t want to do it or play in a pay to play game, that is also 100% but Please stop with the For the Love of the game crap, there is more than one way to love the game and, just because we don’t love it the same way doesn’t me we are making it less pure.

I know that I could go read the last post so I could remember what my goals were last week, but I am tired I need to get to bed because I work in the morning, and I am pretty sure the goals last week were to work on the Temple of Set, that one is a win as much as I could at work and with 31 days of Character creation.

The second goal was to spend one of my Days off working on the Ravnica game. That one I failed at. And the last goal was to get two patrons, that one was also a bust. I also did not even come close to getting 10 patrons this month.

Last week due to sickness I did not set any goals, so I guess I got 100% on whatever I did. This week I am back, and there is a lot to do.

I know it was a far reach, when I set the goal to get 10 patrons this month and every month this year, but they say go big or go home, and well as much as I like being home, I thought I would go big.
