I might have been planning to write a blog today, but I was hoping it would be latter in the evening. But both the the things I am working on today are kind of on hold. So why not do it now.

the website is coming alone, one of the two projects I am working on is to get 9 items up each day between the two stores. But I take photos on my tablet and then email them to myself and for some reason that doesn’t always work out. I should maybe look in to the app.

The reason I wanted to wait until I was done working to do the blog, is on todays list of The Temple of Zeus to take the 1e version of the Hero Jason and convert him to the OSRIC, and that means sharing him and the Artifact he as with the my goblins on Patreon, and then I would share a link to that here.

I am not able to finish this yet, because in the OSRIC system book, it says that Paladins and Rangers get zero-level spells, but I don’t see anywhere in the book a list of spells. Now Jason is not a Paladin, but he is a Ranger, and maybe like my last character that I converted I don’t need zero-level spells, but this is the second time it has come up so I kind of want to know.

I logged in to Arena today, and the system was down so they could work on it, that’s a new one. But there are still things I can talk about, because I played some in person games on Thursday.

Before we get in to that thought, I have gotten 4 packs of the new set, and I have to say I am not impressed with the art work. I am not really shocked by that, the last full set with good art was Kaldheim. and the art over all at WoTC has been lacking for a very long time.

Alright on Thursday I played for games, and the only game I lost was the one in which I used my Gruul Deck. I don’t play it a lot to win, in fact it has only won twice, but it’s a fun deck, even before you get it to the game, people don’t like it because it has 150 cards in it. I need to get look at getting more cards that are red and Green.

The Final Dream: Aside from getting The Temple of Zeus typed up, and out, I have started working on third level, so far there are a lot of Mummies. I am trying to decided if I want one of my monsters On every level, I need to read back on level one and see if I put it there, I remember writing it, but that might have been the other draft I wrote. I know I did not put it in the basement level, and that is ok.

Looking through the OSRIC book, there is nothing for the Death Knight or the Slaad, so I will need to make my own, and that is ok. I am not sure about the Death Knight but I have started working on the slaad, you can see the Glass Frog on the Patreon.

Wonderland: I am not getting a lot done on this project, and that bugs me. I am going to set Friday’s and Tuesday’s for More Wonderland.

I had this plan today that I was going to get up, dress up and show up, while I got up and that is where the plans ended. I have not felt well all day. So the things I wanted to talk about are not as thought out as I want to be, but I don’t what to forget about them. So maybe I will lay them out here and then come back to them later.

The other thing I did was add some things to The Yard Sale, and I might add a few more when I am done with the post and promoting it. And maybe some stuff on on The Game Store.

So first last night I was talking to someone, and they were talking about how he is kind of torn because some times he doesn’t invite people to his gaming table because they would not be a good fit. I reminded him, and now I will remind you all that, making sure everyone is included doesn’t mean at your table, it means that they game is a safe place for them to be. but if you are not included people at your table think about why. But again not everyone is going to be a good fit.

The guys that I play Magic with, are Not a fight for my table, because they are all right wing nut cases. and some day I will be able to find a new group to play Magic with.

The other thing we talked about what teaching people how to play D&D, and that got me thinking about doing a DM boot camp. I have thought about it before, but I always go back to one it’s not hard and two it’s an easy thing to pick up, but maybe I will think about it because I need dollars or a job.

So last time I talked a little about not being able to track the number of blogs that I have posted here on the new site, and I figured out how to see those, So This will be the 14th post here, and I have done 563 all time.

So I did not get a Super Beat Down Sunday, Things did not go the way they were supposed to at all on Sunday, and by the time I was able to play any Magic it would have been after midnight before I could write the blog. I think next week I will go play in person.

This week is hopefully going to be busy. I need to follow up with the art guy tomorrow, Castle Roan should be able to come out this week. I need to go make sure I still have the art for The Temple of Zeus. I will get that typed up, and makes the changes I need to. and then when that is done, it’s full steam ahead on The Temple of Set.

The Final Dream I: I should be able to finish the first Draft of the Temple of Zeus this week, and when I get back from my trip I can get it typed out. Then on to The Temple of Set.

I just want to say real fast, that one thing I like about blog spot is it told me how many blogs I have created so I am going to have to see if I can find something like that on here, or if I am just going to have to start counting by hand. I don’t think I have that many fingers.

I am happy the website is coming along nicely. I have this plan that everyday at 4 pm, I will work on it, but today I am going back to working on The Temple of Zeus when I am done here, I use my table for pictures and I can’t us it right now. I am working on The Yard sale more right now because all the stuff I have is ready to go. All the gaming stuff I have to read and deiced if am keeping it or not.

It has been a few months since I did a Super Beat Down Sunday. But I might be getting back into so I have a reason to play Arena. yeah I know I was excited the other day when I said I had not played it for five days, but I really want to figure out how to make my Saga deck work, so I need to do that and I want to make my Boros Dwarf deck better.

So each week I will talk about my online encounters, and if I go play with my group I will share about that too. One reason I stopped doing the Super Beat Downs is that I can only take so much of my group, I really need to find a new one.

Alright today’s daily challenge was to cast 20 creatures, I used my Orzhov deck and, casting that mean creatures, it’s going to take a few games because the deck is fast and It is not very often that would cast more than five creatures at a time. I went 4-1 with this deck, the deck I lost to was a mono red deck, and could not get my life gain fast enough not to get burned. I made it to Gold 2.

In the Real life game, I was able to play with my uncle, we played four games The first two games I played my Gruul deck. I did better the second game, but still lost both. I could not get any land.

The second game I used my Dimir storybook deck. I one that game, I have to say though that the last two times I have used that deck, I have had to come up with other ways to win, because my go to move with the Folio just hasn’t happened.

The Third game I used another Dimir mill deck. The idea is that my defenders mill. I won that game.

The Last game was commander, I could have won a few times, but I am trying to teach my uncle how to play the game better. I am not sure why.

This week has been good, I think part of that is because I have not been playing MTG Arena for no other reason than I need to not waste my time.

Wonderland: I have most of the map ready, I have three more pages to add to it and then I can start drawing. I went to get tape today, and while I need more because I got double sided sticky tape.

I have been thinking what the kids and I will do for our 5e game, I have been looking at some of the stuff from Wizards and I don’t like it, so I have been thinking I will just do Wonderland. That should be good and it will let me work on my writing at the same time.

The Final Dream: I am about 10 rooms away from being done with the third level of the Temple of Zeus, and should be able to get the map done for level four. I am not sure what I am going to do with level four yet, I keep thinking a dog named Zeus will be in this level but that is as far as I have gotten.

Next week Castle Roan should come out, I am going to send my art guy a message when I am done with the blog, and then I am thinking about doing an other adventure for Geryhawk con this October.
